A.  No.  Residents need to purchase a rain water tank which costs from $9,500, installed, for a 125,000 litre tank.  A 125,000 litre tank should provide enough water for an average family for a year.  There is also a proposal by a private company to bring water to the area.

Q. What are there the fire regulations in Chittering?

Q. Are horses and other animals allowed at Chittering Springs Estate?
A. Horses, goats, and sheep are allowed on the parkland cleared blocks.  The Shire of Chittering Scheme Provisions Item 14 specifies that stock shall be restricted to previously cleared areas.  The prior approval of the Shire of Chittering is required for the keeping of any grazing animal on a lot.

Q. What sort of fencing is provided at Chittering Springs Estate?
A. All Stage 1 parkland cleared blocks are fully fenced.  These 5 acre home sites are priced from $260,000 and horses are permitted on these blocks.   The Shire of Chittering Scheme Provisions Item 5 specifies that no side or boundary fences are permitted in the tree preservation areas, such as the blocks in Stage 2.  However, lots over 2.2 hectares in area (that is blocks over 5.5 acres in size) are required to have a fire break.  On these lots, the Shire of Chittering may approve fencing.

Q.  What services are available at Chittering Springs Estate?
A. All home sites have underground power, telephone and internet.  Fully fenced blocks, on which horses are permitted, are available in Stage 1.  Gates to all blocks are provided at settlement. Chittering Springs is a growing community, near the Swan and Chittering Valleys, set in rolling countryside.

Yes, there is a private contractor which collects bins in Chittering Springs, although many residents take their bins to the tip on Wandena Road.

A. Drive north on Great Northern Highway, past the Brand Highway turn-off.  Continue north on the Great Northern Highway for 6 km.  After 6 km, turn right into Maddern Road (there are directional signs to Chittering Springs at this turn-off).  Drive down Maddern Road for 2 km, turn right at the T-junction and, after about 100 metres, turn left into Wisteria Way (there is a directional sign at this corner).  When you arrive at Chittering Springs you can collect a site plan, price list and brochure from the brochure box on the sales point sign.

Q. How far is Chittering from Midland?
A. Midland is only 25 minutes from Chittering Springs Estate.
